| Well Alanna Reminded me that I was not focusing on the blessings that God has poured out on me these past few months and I wanted to share some of those with you guys. Well things have been pretty stressful to say the least but every time that Melissa and I are down and feel like there is no way out of a situation.. there He is waiting with open arms to give us exactly what we needed. Well about a few weeks ago Melissa was getting of work and she went to her car and started driving away from the mall... just before she got on the freeway her car just died... she couldn't start it at all soshe had to call a towing truck and he came to get the car.. had it towed to the closest shop... owned by some spanish guy who seemed shady at first but he ended up knowing exactly what was wrong with the car... (something blakney or the honda dealership couldn't tell us!) ... so there we were knowing what was wrong and being that we had no money to fix the car .... we were stuck.. so the next day we are trying to figure out what to do and the church session at Cornerstone heard about the car situation and decided that they wanted to use the deacons fund... to fix the car whatever the cost may be! What an answer to our prayers.. just the night before Melissa was crying and I was with her and we didn't know what to do, so we just prayed for a miracle... God gave us a miracle!!! SO the car is now fixed and we are doing well. Then I was in class and this lady that I was working on the salad station with asked about the wedding and I was talking about what was happening with it being in chattanooga and all, and she asked for an invitation.... (she is really wealthy i.e. her husband bought her a BMW for Christmas... wealthy).... I said sure and she told me that she knew that when you get married you really need money more than gifts and she wanted to help out.... anyways... her name is Deb Willyard and as it turns out she told her husband about us and since I had shared with my class at the beginning of the year that I was an MK and a christian, she knew this and apparently her and her husband are too, and he wants to help us out..so whatever that means we'll see I guess. She asked what I was doing for our honeymoon and since I was thinking about going to Myrtle beach but still hadn't purchased our stay there she said that her cousins own a luxury home/villa rental agency at hilton head island, SC. If you know anything about Hilton Head Island... it is where the duper wealthy go to vacation or live. Deb Willyard said that she talked with her cousins and they wanted me to go online check out the different places and choose a place I liked but not to book anything online but to call them and they would work something out. So I did this and found a really nice villa right on the beach and with the disscount they are giving me it is going to cost me $378 for the enitire time... normally the rates for that villa are 1,000 a day!!!! And when I found this place I had to check the availability and all of July was booked... all of August was booked... except Saturday night August 19th throught Wednesday August 23!!! The exact days we needed! God is good! To say the least... anyway, so this last month God has given, and given , and given to us and we have been so blessed!!! Never think God is not there for you! And all of these things have happened when there has been literally nowhere to turn except to Him!!! So there you go Alanna... wanted to let you know that it's not all bad stuff... like driving in the rain, and hot humidity for hours.. :) Love you all and I'll hear from you soon. | | |
| Okay well I am in chattanooga now and I am so glad to be here... I am not here for good but I am here this weekend because I am helping mel move into our apartment. So today i woke up.... was going to go to class and then come up to chattanooga for the first part of m trip... to start things out my back tire was flat...there was a nail stuck in the side of the wheel... so I had to get it to the firestone repair placedown the street to get it fixed.... costs me 52 dollars.... then I am missing class so I decide to just skip today andget a head start on moving up to chattannooga... so how do I get my bed dresser.... everything that doesen't fit in my car to chattanooga?? I drive my car up with everything I can take... then I come up to chattanooga drop of all the stuff at the house.... (mom and dads) then go get the englishes truck... they let me use it for the afternoon.... go and fill up the gas tank drive back down to atlanta.... get all the huge things... load up the truck.. getback on the highway.. now it is 3:45.... traffic galore... took me 1 hour just to get from I-285 to I-75!! then guess what... I see the darkest clouds in front of me and it starts.. to rain... ri quickly drive off the highway... rush to the walmart gas station just before the downpour!! Then I run in the rain over to walmart to get a tarp... I am soaked... walking through walmart.... get the cheapest tarp I can find... run back to the gas station... (i looked like I jumped into a pool!!!) I tie everything down... and then I get back on the highway... still traffic... since I am barely out of atlanta.. it's hot... I'm sweating in places I didn't know I had! And just 8 minutesgo by and the sun comes out!!! FIGURES!!!.... so it turns out to be providential since it stormed 2 more times on the way up.... so I finally got to chattanooga... AGAIN... for the second time! the long and short of it is that I finally am here... we rented a U-haul for the day tomorrow and we are going to load up averything and move. Ethan's girlfriend is coming up soon. I hope Iwill be able to meet her......if my work doesn't get in the way.

| Okay time is really flying by and I am at a loss for what to say right now... I have to run to class... I am in the restaurant now... which is here in our school and it is like a class except we are cooking all day, since we actually serve paying customers. so that is what I am doing right now. Anyway's... for the days left.... here we go.

| Okay this is a really quick update for you guys... I am on a break from class and I thought I'd let you know what I have been doing. Well let's see... less than two months until the wedding and I have soo much to get done! As far as classes go I have the rest of this week to finish up Asian cuisine cooking... today we were studying and cooking indian foods! Mom's Indian food still kicks butt!! Next week is our "summer break" it's only one week! But it's still break so anyway, I'll be working all week and packing up my things... Melissa moves into our Apartment on the 15th (saturday) and I am going up there that weekend to bring all my things up there and to help her move oure stuff into the apartment. My lease runs out at the end of July at myy apartment here in Atlanta and my friend Daniel Lee ( classmate at LCB) said I could live with him for the two weeks in August before I come up to Chattanooga. So yeah, after next weeks break I am in the restaurant.. the finall classes here at Le Cordon Bleu!! I have three weeks in the back of the house and three in the front and I am done! Well I still have my externship but that's already set and I'll be living with melissa in chattanooga!! Well I can't wait to see you all at the wedding! Aaron I hope you had a good flight! Ethan say hey to Juicy for me. love you guys!
